The real fault first, then the bill — not the other way round
Plenty of boilers get the wrong diagnosis on the first visit. The boiler gets reset, a part goes in, it's reset again — and a fortnight later the same fault is back. I'd rather spend the time tracing what's genuinely gone wrong before I suggest spending any of your money on it.
